We desire to love God and one another well by cultivating healthy relationships, however we often lack the skills we need to do this well. Join Pastor Matt and Roxanne Hammett as we learn 8 practical skills to develop mature loving relationships with others. Cost: $25

Misadventures in the Christian Life

Be the Bridge 101: An Educational Program for White People

Thursdays, October 1, 8, 15, 22, via Zoom

This is a national class designed for white people who want to learn more about how to be a racial bridge-builder in the church and in the world. You will be guided through initial learning, useful definitions, and self-reflection. This is a highly recommended pathway for white people who want to join Be the Bridge Discussion Groups at Flood in the future. Classes will be recorded and you will be able to watch at your convenience. The price is $25 per person for the instruction and $10 for the cost of the guide. Sunday Beach Get Togethers: Sundays, 8am, Moonlight Beach

Prior to our 9am online gathering (DIVEintoFLOOD.com/LIVE), we will be having our Sunday (Socially-Distanced) Get-Together! To note, will be meeting weekly on Sundays at 8am at Moonlight Beach (just underneath the Big Palm Tree in the center). Meaning, we will be on the beach THIS Sunday morning (9/13 at 8am)!!! 5 Misadventures in the Christian Life Core Group, Wednesdays, 7pm

They begin to wonder: “Am I missing something?” Spend 6 weeks exploring 5 misadventures in the Christian life—beliefs and practices that can keep us from experiencing all that God has in store for us. Cost: $10 for written materials. Each week includes 4 thought-provoking questions to guide the discussion. .

Anti-Human Trafficking

GenerateHope Yard Work Day:
Friday September 25, or Saturday September 26

GenerateHope received a large mulch donation to beautify our garden at our Transition home. We will need extra hands to help weed and distribute the mulch around the yard. All volunteers must be over the age of 18, have no symptoms of COVID-19, and are required to wear a mask. We are looking forward to serving alongside you! Volunteer Needs: Female Piano Teacher’ Female Mentors (weekly, long-term commitment), Lawn Care, Gardening, Contractor

Prison Ministry

Weekly Prayer Groups, Times Vary

In Matthew 25, Jesus includes visiting prisoners as one of the examples of ways to know him. If your heart is stirring to meet Jesus in this way, consider beginning by praying for prisoners through a prayer group.
