An opportunity to symbolically participate in the journey Jesus took to the cross through audio and visual guides.
– Set aside an hour to journey through the Stations of the Cross between Monday, April 6 – Friday, April 10
– During your chosen hour, use the visual guide Unforsaken: A Digital Guide through the Stations of the Cross.
Go at your own pace! Most complete the guide in about an hour.
From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.” Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. An opportunity to abstain from food or something meaningful in order to focus our attention on God. Fasting is a way of “Feasting” on God!

– Fast entirely from food from sunup to sundown
– Choose one meal to skip
– Fast entirely from screens from sunup to sundown
– Or discern something personally meaningful for you to fast from
