Matt’s Blog: Reopening Update

Flood Family,

We are all looking forward to the time when we can gather in person. Last month, the opportunity to be together at the Park n’ Ride Picnic at our new building reminded us of the joy and encouragement of gathering together! While we were hopeful to offer an option soon for safe in-person Sunday worship gatherings, due to the latest updates from the state and school district, we are putting this plan on pause. We will continue to gather together online live every Sunday at 9am, 11am, and 7pm at At this time, all in-person groups and events will meet online or in socially distant outdoor settings as well.

In this uncertain time, we are committed to being a Christ-centered movement of Hope and Healing, and will continue to be the Church together to our neighbors and throughout our communities. I’m continually reminded that the Church is not a building, it’s a movement. It’s not a what, it’s a who. In the midst of challenge, God is at work and provides unique opportunities to share the love and power of Jesus and glorify Him.

We also recognize the latest setbacks create another wave of grief and loss for many. As a church family, we want to remain connected and supportive to one another. If you need prayer or pastoral counsel, please email [email protected]. We have helpful resources available at and to help
navigate these difficult times.

May we continue to experience the Lord as our Good Shepherd who supplies all that we need. In the midst of life’s challenges and uncertainties, we belong to the strong and unshakeable Kingdom of God. The One who calls
us is faithful.

Trusting God,
