How Can I Help You?

Flood Family,

Right now, it can feel like we’re running low on just about everything, from groceries to toilet paper to hope. Many of us are feeling an impending sense of scarcity, wondering what will happen to us “if”: what if I lose my job? What if I get sick, or my kids or parents? What if things get even worse than they already are?

If you’ve found yourself asking any of these questions in the dark hours of the night, you’re not alone. Many of us are wondering and worrying about these same very real, very hard choices that may lie before us. In 2 Kings, Elisha comes across a widow faced with an impossible choice – pay a debt that she doesn’t have the money for, or send her sons into slavery as payment? Her anguish is palpable, and in the midst of her crisis Elisha says these five simple yet magical words: How can I help you?

Our greatest strength is our ability to come together as the family of God and ask one another, ‘how can I help you?’ Join us on Sunday at 9am at as we continue our series Providence: Desperate Times, Disparate Measures, learning how to put our faith in the Faithful One in these most uncertain times.

– Pastor Grace Wilkinson

P.S. We are continuing to pay close attention to government recommendations, and are excited to continue to offer our livestream while adhering to social distancing with no more than 10 people together at a time. We believe that offering the hope & healing of Christ is more important than ever, and we encourage you to you to invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join us this and every Sunday online!
