Matt’s Blog: Home

Every great movement has a home.

A place to return to in your greatest times of need and your greatest triumphs. A place to be supported, strengthened and encouraged. A place to be reminded of who you are and whose you are. A place to be loved and a place to be sent out into the world.

We want to build a HOME.

A place that meets our need on Sundays and throughout the week. A home base that fuels our movement locally and globally.

The challenge and opportunity before us is to transform a warehouse, built in 1965, into a church for the 21st century. Our initial goal is to raise $5,000,000, which would provide for all our immediate facility needs.

This will only be accomplished through your participation in HOME: Opening doors for a New Generation.

Through our unified prayers and sacrificial giving, we can make this
dream a reality!

While this is an ambitious number, over the past 6 weeks I have been meeting with key leaders in our community, including our Staff and Support Team, to get us started. I’m excited to share you that as of today,
we have raised $2,089,212!

I’m not asking you to do anything that we are not willing to do as a leadership team. With God’s provision, we believe we can achieve this goal through 100% participation from our church family. We want to see everyone give an initial offering and pledge, to be fulfilled over the next 36 months, on Pledge Sunday coming up in two weeks, on Sunday, March 31.

I’m asking you to spend the next two weeks praying and discerning your participation, over and above your regular giving. You can pick up a vision booklet and pledge card on a Sunday or visit DIVEintoFLOOD.com/Home to learn all about the project and utilize the GIVE button to make your commitment.

I am not asking for equal giving, but equal sacrifice.

We will conclude this campaign at our Easter celebrations. Learn more about our plans for Easter
weekend at: DIVEintoFLOOD.com/Easter.

We are confident that God is going to show up in amazing ways as we seek to trust Him in this endeavor. When those moments occur, please share them with us! Your testimony will be an encouragement to us all. You can share your moment at [email protected]

I am grateful for the generosity expressed through our congregation over the years and look forward to what’s to come through this faith building initiative.

Thank you,
