There are few things in life that I enjoy less than sitting in traffic.
Although I’m physically at a standstill, my mind shifts into overdrive trying to identify the fastest lane or using my Waze app to find an alternative route. Several times last week, especially during the heavy rain, I left like I was reenacting the opening sequence from Office Space.
On the freeways and in life, moments of waiting are frustrating interruptions that delay us from our desired destination.
But in the spiritual life, times of waiting can be some of the richest seasons. The key to experiencing God in our waiting is to be given the tools to navigate this season well.
I hope that you will join us this Sunday as we explore the spiritual practices involved in waiting and continue our message series, Transfer: Endings, Beginnings, and the Seasons between.
Waiting for Sunday!
