Local Impact OPPORTUNITIES
We exist to honor God’s creation in our daily lives by becoming good stewards of the environment through waste reduction, resource conservation and utilizing sustainable resources. Our goal is to create a culture of consciousness and conservation at Flood
Join this team and support those who serve our country! We provide an outreach of love, support and encouragement to Flood families that are currently serving in the military by sending care packages during deployment to those overseas and their families.
Serve the refugee population of City Heights in San Diego by teaching English, tutoring on schoolwork, helping them get acclimated to American culture, and being a catalyst in their relationship with God. Meet with a refugee family at least once a week.
Serve the Tijuana community by taking a day-trip to help build a house for a family in need. We need builders who can commit to participating as consistently as possible! Monthly trips are typically the 3rd Saturday. Watch calendar for dates. Cost: $40.
Experience the joy of teaching, serving and playing with kids at the El Faro orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. Once a month trips. Cost: $40. Watch the calendar for dates.
Join us as we provide much needed shelter for families in Tijuana and express love through tangible service. No construction experience is necessary, just a willing and passionate heart.
Provide food for the families of students at Kearny High School that are struggling financially. Sign up to bring a $5 food item once a month, on the first Sunday of each month. It’s only a 4-month commitment!
Flood Love serves the homeless people of downtown San Diego. Our hope is that everyone on the street would feel loved and special through personal conversation and snacks we provide. Join us downtown on Monday nights.
