We realize that the process of finding a church community can often be filled with anxiety. We, at Flood Youth, are committed to making things easier for you. Please take some time and look through our youth vision and calendar and either email or call us if you have any
questions. Our Youth Pastor and staff will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

our Youth community!
Flood Church exists to create environments where people are transformed by the living God. We focus that vision on youth by equipping them with knowledge and real life experiences that allow them to ENCOUNTER GOD, GROW WITHIN COMMUNITY and IMPACT THE WORLD. Our vision is to see youth being INSPIRED to ENGAGE society for Christ.
We believe that the journey of life transformation begins with a consistent encounter with the living God. To that effect, we have created two Sunday environments where that encounter can happen:
Middle School
Sundays, 11am, Kearny High School.
Meet with the rest of the church community on Sunday mornings and leave right after worship for an age-specific message in room 605. Middle Schoolers sit on the front left of the auditorium and leave through the left side door.
High School
Sundays, 6pm, Kearny High School. .
Meet with the rest of the church community on Sunday evenings and get together with other high school students after the service. We either hang out at the Starbucks by Kearny High or go to In and Out together. In the service, we sit on the front right of the auditorium.

Our spiritual growth does not happen apart from community. For that reason, we have created a mid-week environment where youth can come and spend a meaningful time together with other youth.
Youth Community Group will resume Friday, August 6th
During the summer we will meet on Friday nights from 6-8pm at the Flood Church Offices

During the school year (Beginning September 9th) the Youth community group meets every Thursday night and features pizza, games, worship, message, big group discussions and small group time.
Middle School and High School me at the same place and time; however, they have separate discussion groups.

We believe that a big part of growing in Christ is the development of an inside out approach to life, living a life that impacts others and the world that God has created. This is the purpose of NEW [block] LOUNGE.
NEW [BLOCK] LOUNGE
First Friday of the Month, 7 to 10pm [see calendar for details]
NEW [block] LOUNGE aka NBL is an artistic venue featuring games, music, dance, short videos, spoken word, comedy, and other forms of art. We created NBL to provide youth with an opportunity to unleash their creative capacity while touching the lives of the less fortunate both loca lly and globally. Every impact initiative we do finds its roots in NEW [block] LOUNGE. This year our youth have adopted a village in Malawi, South East Africa, where our events make a difference in the lives of over 300 kids.< /span>
