Men’s Events!

Theme for Men’s Events:
In order to have a common language as we pursue Biblical masculinity, we have picked a theme for all events within the Men’s ministry: Building Men for Others. This theme is inspired by the book, “Season of Life: A Football Star, a Boy, a Journey to Manhood” by Jeffrey Marx. It’s the story of Joe Erhmann, who was a professional football player turned minister and high school football coach.  The definition of masculinity and the code of conduct described in this book is the foundation for the journey we are on together.  We want to be men who Lead Courageously, Accept Responsibility, Enact Justice on Behalf of Others, and Expect God’s Greater Reward.

Man Mondays!!
This is an opportunity for men of different lifestages and journeys to learn from each other and spur one another on in their pursuit of becoming the men that God desires them to be.  Younger guys will learn from the experience of their elders, and the older men will be inspired and energized by the younger guys.  Our hope is to meet once a month and wrestle through different topics relevant to manhood.
Cost: $5 to cover the pizza

Life Groups

Flood Life Groups are designed for people to experience life transformation and grow within community by sharing life together, applying Sunday’s message, and being on mission together.  There are coed and gender-specific groups.  If you cannot find a Men’s Life Group below that fits your schedule, please check out the Post College/Career or Engaged/Married pages to find a coed Life Group.
